The Galatea foundation stimulates the integration of artists with a migrant past in order to expand their career perspectives.

1. The foundation offers this support by organizing the following activities to stimulate cultural-artistic integration:

• Organizing or arranging for exhibitions and taking care of cultural artistic publications.
• Facilitating exhibition space or making spaces available to give shape to the development of the artists.
• The issuing of an oeuvre prize, the  Galatea Art prize.

2. Via Galatea Music, the foundation supports talented but less fortunated musicians by (among other things):

• Organising concerts
• Providing support for recordings.

3. The third activity of the Galatea Foundation is the Galatea Academy.
In 2022, we started a 4-day introductoin coursee ‘Western/Dutch  art history’ in Utrecht.
